Still he feels most comfortable and at home where pines spring from drooping granite boulders, and where the weather might change at any moment. His love of wilderness has forged in him a fierce conservation mindset which he applies to Preservation Dogs.

We’re excited to introduce our first product to go to market - our Arctic Fox Trekking Paws cover the hard carbide tips that come standard on most trekking and hiking poles. Their design is based on the paw and print of and Arctic fox - they have a rear pad and four toes with claws that flex to absorb impact and provide grip. They’re fun, they leave a fox print on the ground, and they work well on hard and soft surfaces alike.
The Paws themselves are made of an injection molded thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) that is made from recycled tires - this not only helps keep tires out of the landfill, reduces the amount of raw, petrochemicals that get produced in the first place, but also leads to an 85% reduction in the carbon footprint of our paws over ones that are made from traditional TPEs.
The less new plastic the better - our Paws are made with a TPE that's made form recycled tires - this means fewer tires in the landfill, less raw plastic being produced in the first place, and an 85% reduction in carbon footprint.
Our paws have a rear pad and four toes with claws that flex to absorb impact and provide grip. They provide traction on hard surfaces like stone and pavement, and they leave the print of a fox on softer ground.
Our Patent Pending paw is one of a kind - it's based on the paw and print of an arctic fox. While the initial idea seemed simple, we've been working on the design and implementation for about two years.
Arctic Fox Trekking Paws are launching soon - reserve yours now and get them for the lowest price possible!
Our founders have come to recognize that nature does pretty much everything better than we do, nearly every single time. We recognize as well that we, humans, are not separate from nature, and that we also do things better when we remember and honor this fundamental relationship. All of our designs are bio-inspired - they are sparked by the environments we love and in which we thrive - it only seems right we give back. This is why we dedicate 10% of our profits to preservation of the habitats from which our products' inspirations derive.
